How to Record and Run a Macro
Part 3: Running a Macro
Creating a New Toolbar or Menu of Macros
If you record just one or two macros, you might just want to place them in existing toolbars or menus. If you plan on creating several macros, it may be more convenient to keep your macros together in a custom toolbar or menu.
To create a Macro toolbar, simply open the Customize dialog box, click on the Toolbars tab, and select the the Macros checkbox in the list of Toolbars.

The Macro toolbar appears and just like any toolbar you can add buttons and assign macros to those buttons.
Creating a new Menu in which to store your macros is just as easy. Open the Customize dialog box and this time select the Commands tab. Select New Menu from the Categories list.

In the Commands section, drag the New Menu to the Menu bar and release it. Now you can right click on the new custom menu and give it a name (Macros might be a good name). Now, just like any menu, you can drag new custom menu items to your Macros menu, drop them in, and assign them macros.
By now, you should be somewhato of an expert on recording and running macros!
